In e9, we created a house throughout 2 weeks. We used Sketch Up to create a house. During the 2 weeks, first we had to go and look at some houses that we liked and thought we could make. I found a couple of houses that I thought were pretty easy to make. Then I narrowed it down to about 3 houses that I liked. Then I finally picked a house and started to make it on Google Sketch-Up. My house was created when I typed in the dimensions. From there, I used the push-pull tool to pull it up to the height it needed to be. After, I made the roof and had to pull it up. I had to then make a trimming and pull it out on all of the sides. I decided that the siding didn't look good on all of the sides so I only pulled the front and back trimming out. I made windows then and made the panes blue. Then I made the deck in the front and the door and colored it all to make it look pretty. Once I was finished with all of that I found my siding paper for the outside of the house and put it onto the house. Finally, I finished my by coloring my door red and gold. Over to the sides are the roofing textures and siding textures I used on my house to create the looks it has.
We also explored the website Career Cruising where we found out what jobs would fit us best. I took the quiz and after that I ended up with the top 5 jobs that would fit me best. The top 5 jobs that fit me best was a graphic designer, elementary teacher, sign maker, middle school teacher, and veterinarian. These jobs fit some of my characteristics very well because I enjoy helping kids, helping animals and caring for animals, and using computers. I also enjoy using my computer skills to learn new things.
