Contrast
The colors on my poster were chosen because all of the colors contrast well together. I tried to make the yellow color the same color as the bricks in the background. The white makes the words pop out more. To me this will make more people read through the things on the poster. The big text is so people from farther distance can read it. The white color shows the more important things like the time, date, and cost. The yellowish color shows what the show is. The black color is the kinda important things.
Alignment
I aligned the the three important parts of the poster together, the date, time, and price. Then all of the online stuff, I aligned together. I aligned all of the information about the play together in the bottom so then the people don't have to read about that but they can if they want to. I aligned all of the similar thing together so it makes it easier to find things on the poster.
Repetition
Throughout my poster, I repeated the same font in all of my words. I reused bold in my font and some of the words use the same colors. Only the words "The Wizard of OZ" uses yellow.
Placement
For placement, I put things together to try and make things stand out on the poster. For example I choose different colors to make it stand out more. Finally I chose different font sizes to make things easier to read for farther distances.
