Overview
To wrap up the quarter, we created a website and designed it throughout. We had to start with just the info we had that was all jumbled around. There are many difference between the starting HTML file and the other HTML file. There is many different colors involved and different fonts involved. All that is the same in each file is the same information but its all organized differently. Finally, all of the new styles are throughout in the code, all written out different and specifically.
Contrast
The contrast in the HTML files helped with making the file presentable. We had to design the file with different colors. The contrast had us use different colors but different shades of the colors. In the end, in different spots of the file it makes it look better.
Alignment
In the unchanged HTML file, the alignment took a big role on this project. The alignment got changed a bunch with just the words. First, I moved the dog to the left and made it a tad more smaller. Then I made the words look all in line in a couple of different places.
Repetition
There is a couple of things that repeated in my HTML file. Throughout the many paragraphs there is the same font. Also at the top and bottom there is the same font. Mostly the main thing that repeats are fonts and colors.
Proximity
Lastly, is proximity. This is probably the least that took place in my project. The only thing that is grouped together are the words. The words grouped together make the file look way better and it looks nice and clean in the end.
What I learned
Throughout this web project, I did learn many different things. I first learned exactly how to use CARP. I couldn't really understand at first exactly how it worked but once I started using it, it came to me. Next is how to use code. I felt like I would of never been able to code new projects and all but now I feel more comfortable with it all. Lastly, is how to use Dreamweaver. I feel like having the help with a. video made it better for me to learn and how it kinda stopped and let us do some work and explore the app.
